Video Cards, Tuners & Encoders

My sources (ok, it was an anon post in the forum) tell me that hauppauge has a pvr150 coming out "soon"

see the PVR 150 post for some juicy links to some hauppauge france powerpoint presentation in spanish...

Is it a cheaper pvr250? Is it a rebranded roslyn/blackbird card marketed to consumer/retail market? Stay tuned to find out...

From the google-grish translation...

" More solutions PVR.
Hauppauge will present/display new products of economic the PVRmás line and with more benefits: Following the movement of market towards the all digital thing, the WinTV-PVR-150 allows to take any source analogical (television, analogical camera, VHS tape) and to pass it to MPEG-2 through hardware soon to make S-vcd or DVD with a recorder. The Pvr-150 Integra the new chip of CONEXAN of compression by hardware that has allowed Hauppauge to remove a capturadora PVR economic than PVR 250 but with the same technical characteristics.
