Also of interest in the home PVR HTPC setup arena Kiss Technology DP-508 DVD Player [2] a DVD box stores and plays music, videos, and pictures from your PC. It's 500 beans retail though. Again, I'd rather build my own, because I'm that type of guy [3], but it's nice to see this type of functionality become more and more pervasive amongst regular consumer products.
