"After many weeks of struggle I finally have a functional MythTV box running. This article is a summary of how I got things working with Mandrake 10.1 Community Edition."

He also gives a succint look at two other linux distros he tried before settling on Mandrake: KnoppMyth and Fedora.

Previously he talked about his experience with BeyondTV 3.5 [4] (for comparison's sake here's my take on BTV3.5 [5] ), Windows MCE 2005 edition [6], and Free windows PVR software: GBPVR and GOTTV [7]
